Property Manager

University City Housing is seeking a candidate searching for a rewarding and fun career! We are looking for a motivated, professional, Property Manager to work full time at our Summit Park Communities located in Roxborough, PA. Candidates must be energetic, friendly, outgoing, and detail-oriented, with an interest in Property Management.

The primary responsibility of this position is to be the brand ambassador for our apartment communities, to lease apartments through product demonstration and follow-up, and to implement UCH’s marketing strategies.  Prior experience in Property Management, Sales and Customer Service considered a plus.

The Property Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and management of two of our properties in Philadelphia, Summit Park and Summit Gardens.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage and support all day-to-day aspects (administrative tasks, marketing, leasing, maintenance, etc.) of the properties
  • Maintain occupancy levels desired by management company
  • Traffic Reports
  • Payroll
  • Regular communication with Marketing Director and Regional Manager on any leasing issues or concerns or innovative ideas
  • Oversee maintenance and repairs to include but not limited to turnovers, planning and scheduling, contractor oversight, alerting Regional Manager to future projects
  • NTV walk-throughs
  • Implement new and uphold current preventive maintenance programs
  • Resident retention
  • Review and approve all facility invoices
  • Report any and all slip and falls to Risk Manager and RM
  • Report any and all employee issues HR and RM
  • Snow and ice removal oversight


  • A stable, progressive work history and 5+ years experience in leasing/property management
  • Our ideal candidate must be a creative thinker, as well as detail-oriented, highly organized, and flexible
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and handle the pressures of fast-paced industry
  • Must be able to communicate well with residents and employees and build strong regional team
  • Ability to effectively implement the goals and objectives of company

Qualifications Required:     

  • College Degree
  • Valid Driver's License and vehicle
  • MS Outlook, Word, and Excel experience
  • Flexibility with hours and days worked
  • Leasing and Sales experience
  • Weekend availability
